Early Morning Collision with Motorcycle on Highway 24 in Lafayette
LAFAYETTE, CA (February 1, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured following a traffic collision early Friday morning in Lafayette.
The collision happened around 4:27 a.m. on eastbound Highway 24 near the Old Tunner Road off-ramp.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle collided with a vehicle, blocking the right lane of the highway.
Law enforcement arrived on the scene and found the rider with major injuries. The badly injured patient was then transported to a hospital in an unknown condition.
Details surrounding the collision were not made clear in the reports and media releases. CHP officials are still investigating the incident.
