1 Dead, 1 Injured after Crash on Kino Avenue in Kingman
Kingman, AZ (December 17, 2023) – On Wednesday, 19-year-old Lacey Lynn Gale, of Kingman, died in a crash on Kino Avenue.
On Dec. 13, the crash near Kino Avenue and North Stockton Hill Road, north of Interstate 40, prompted the Kingman Police Department to respond.
Investigators report that the victim was operating an SUV on Kino Avenue when she executed a left turn to travel northbound on Stockton Hill Road.
According to the police, a 20-year-old man driving a truck ran a red light while heading south on Stockton Hill Road and collided with Gale’s SUV.
Both drivers sustained injuries. First responders administered CPR to Gale at the scene before transporting her to a hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries later on.
The truck driver, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, was taken to the hospital.
The police are actively investigating the crash, and charges are pending until the conclusion of the investigation.
