3 People Injured in Camden County Traffic Crash near 161 Kennedy Drive

CAMDEN COUNTY, MO (September 25, 2024) – Monday, Lacey Linton and Curtis McGhee were injured in an accident near 161 Kennedy Drive.

The incident happened at about 1:00 a.m. near 161 Kennedy Drive.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), Zachary J. Wallace, 23, of Macks Creek, was driving a 2024 Polaris Ranger southbound when the vehicle approached a left turn at high speed.

The Ranger veered off the right side of the road, skidded, struck a ditch, and re-entered the roadway. The vehicle then crossed the center lines, overturned, and ultimately stopped on the left side of the road.

Two passengers, Linton, 33, and McGhee, 35, both of Macks Creek, were ejected from the vehicle during the rollover and suffered moderate injuries. Wallace also sustained serious injuries after being ejected from the Polaris Ranger. 

All three individuals were transported to Lake Regional Hospital by emergency medical services. The MSHP confirmed that none of the occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
