Car Crashes into Tree in La Porte Leaving 1 Dead

LA PORTE, CA (December 1, 2018) – A man was killed following a car accident Saturday afternoon in La Porte, according to an initial dispatch by the CHP.

The crash happened a little after 1:00 p.m. at the intersection of Quincy La Porte Road and Aristocracy Drive.

CHP officials said a vehicle had crashed into a tree for unknown reasons. Cal Fire responded to the scene and located a white male adult lying face down in front of the vehicle. That person sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The name, age, and town of residence of the victim were not immediately available pending positive identification and notification of next of kin.

Details are sparse on what exactly transpired. At this time, California Highway Patrol officials are in the process of investigating the incident.
