Tyler, TX (January 8, 2024) On Sunday, police arrested 27-year-old Kylee Anne Johns of Arp after 6 people were hurt in a DUI crash on Broadway.

According to Tyler Police Department (TPD), the DUI accident happened near the intersection of Broadway and Front Street.

Officials say that a vehicle driven by Johns struck a vehicle with six occupants. Authorities say that a woman and 2 minors were taken to a hospital in Tyler, while 2 other juveniles were transported to a children’s hospital in Dallas for more intensive care.

Authorities arrested Johns and booked into the Smith County Jail on a charge of intoxication assault with a vehicle causing serious bodily injury.
