Kyle Williams-Dugan Fatally Struck by Car in San Jose
SAN JOSE, CA (July 28, 2019) – The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office identified the man who died by a car last month as Kyle Trevon Williams-Dugan, 27, of Oakland.
The crash happened around 3:40 p.m., July 28 on Highway 237 near Zanker Road. CHP officials said four men were inside a vehicle that stopped on the eastbound shoulder of the freeway near Zanker Road.
Williams-Dugan and another man eventually got out of the car for unknown reasons, and moved towards the traffic lanes. There, Dugan was fatally struck by a passing vehicle.
Paramedics rushed Williams-Dugan to a hospital, however he succumbed to his injuries.
The surrounding area was closed off for a brief time while crews worked to clear the scene. However, the roadway has since reopened.
Furthermore, the crash remains under investigation at this time.
