35th Avenue Solo-Vehicle Collision Injures People

Spokane Valley, WA (September 17, 2022) – At around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, the authorities arrested 21-year-old Kyle Stenico in a rollover crash on University Road that injured his passengers.

The officers from the Spokane Valley Police Department responded to the scene at the intersection with 35th Avenue and located Kyle Stenico’s vehicle on its top.

According to the officers, a person reported a vehicle doing a speed racing south on Dishman Mica Road. Then, the tires screeched and a loud crash was heard.

Responding officers say Kyle Stenico was driving a northbound Audi on University Road. He lost control of the vehicle on a curve and struck a retaining wall before his vehicle rolled over.

The medical rescuers transported two of Kyle Stenico‘s passengers to the hospital with serious but non-fatal injuries. The rescuers also transported the third passenger as a precaution.  Officers say all the passengers were adults.

Moreover, the paramedics transported Kyle Stenico to the hospital. Afterward, the police booked him into the Spokane County Jail with two counts of vehicular assault. He will have his first court appearance Monday.

Officers say they are still investigating the 35th Avenue solo-vehicle collision.

When driving a vehicle, it is your responsibility to ensure the safety of yourself and others around you. Additionally, it is important to always drive within the posted speed limit. Also, slow down if you see traffic stalling ahead to avoid hitting other vehicles.

The perverse actions of a reckless driver can increase the likelihood of traffic collisions.

The 35th Avenue solo-vehicle collision is a good reminder to always be a responsible and defensive driver.
