Hays County, TX (December 1, 2023) On Thursday morning, Kristen Ortiz and Caryn Pacelli, were among 11 people who were hurt in a multi-car crash on Highway 290.

According to the Hays County Sheriff’s Office, the massive collision happened at about 8:15 a.m. on Highway 290 in Drippings Springs near Headwaters Boulevard.

Reports say that the crash involved 6 vehicles, including an 18-wheeler. Officials say that a total of 11 people suffered various levels of injuries, including a Sheriff’s deputy who was transported to the hospital, along with another patient.

Texas DPS is investigating the massive 6-vehicle collision and has not released further details at this time.
