KPD Officer Injured in DUI Crash on 240th Street [Kent, WA]

Kent, WA (December 11, 2024) – A Kent Police Department officer was injured following a DUI crash on 240th Street Monday night.

Investigators said the front of the officer’s patrol vehicle was ripped apart as a result of the collision. 

Immediately, the paramedics responded to the scene and rushed both the officer and the woman who allegedly crashed into the patrol vehicle to the hospital. Reports said the woman sustained minor injuries.

Meanwhile, Kent police are still investigating what led up to the collision, though, they mentioned that the driver of the vehicle that struck the patrol vehicle appeared to be visibly intoxicated and that she barely knew what was going on.
