Kitching Street 4-Car Collision Results in Fatality [Moreno Valley, CA]

Moreno Valley, CA (February 15, 2023) On Tuesday afternoon, a 4-car collision on Kitching Street killed a person and injured another.

Riverside County Sheriff’s Department say that the deadly multi-vehicle crash happened on Alessandro Boulevard at around 2 p.m.

Reports say that a Jeep Patriot, a Kia Forte and two other vehicles collided and caused major injuries to tehir drivers.

Authorities say that the driver of the Jeep fled a prior collision with a Mercedes-Benz at Perris Boulevard and Bay Avenue. The driver of the Mercedes chased the Jeep after the latter rear-ended the former. Afterward, the driver of the Jeep did not stop on a red light and collided wit the KIa and the 2 other vehicles.

Paramedics rushed the drivers of the Jeep and Kia to a hospital, where the Kia driver succumbed to their injuries and died at the hospital. Meahwile, the Jeep driver sustained minor injuries.

Deputies are investigating the deadly multi-vehicle crash and have not released further information at this time.
