3 Vehicles Involved in Collision on Highway 101 in King City
KING CITY, CA (May 11, 2019) – Injuries were reported following a three-vehicle collision Saturday morning in King City.
The collision happened just before 11:00 a.m. on northbound Highway 101 at Jolon Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a beige pickup truck, a black Chevrolet sedan and a white Nissan sedan were involved for unknown reasons.
Officers arrived on the scene and located only two vehicles. One vehicle was facing the wrong way in the center divider, while another was blocking the slow lane.
Injuries were sustained in the accident but the extent and number of injured patients were not immediately known. Paramedics took those who were injured to a hospital for proper treatment.
The crash also caused major front-end damage on the Chevrolet and major rear-end damage on the Nissan. Both cars were towed away from the crash site.
At this time, authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash and on the lookout for the third vehicle.
