KING CITY, CA – Fatal Pedestrian Crash on First Street near Highway 101

Male Body Fatally Struck by Vehicles in King City

 
KING CITY, CA (January 30, 2019) – CHP received a call of a fatal pedestrian crash Wednesday evening in King City.
 
The incident was reported around 8:13 p.m. on First Street off-ramp, just between Lonoak Road and Highway 101.
 
A witness told officers that a unknown vehicle ran over a male body that was lying on the roadway. The body was hit again by at least two other vehicles.
 
CHP units arrived on the scene and confirmed the fatality of the incident. The name, age and town of residence of the victim were not immediately available pending positive identification and next of kin notification.
 
Details are sparse on who was involved and what exactly transpired. The incident is still on active investigation while the authorities are putting the pieces together.
