Driver Injured in 3rd Avenue Multi-Vehicle Hit-and-Run Accident
Ephrata, WA (November 11, 2023) On Friday evening, police arrests 42-year-old Kimberly Baker of Soap Lake after a DUI collision on Basin Street.
According to the Ephrata PD, the multi-vehicle hit-and-run accident happened around 5 p.m. at the intersection of Basin Street and 3rd Avenue near the Rite Aid.
Reports say that Baker was driving a full-sized SUV pulled out of the Conoco Fuel station, then continued on to Basin Street at a high rate of speed, crossing all lanes of travel.
Officials say that Baker then crashed into 2 other vehicles as she drive through Basin Street, a driver inside the vehicle she struck suffered injuries due to the collision.
Authorities say that Baker was intoxicated behind the wheel of her SUV. Police arrested her for DUI, reckless endangerment with hit-and-run charges pending.
