Alexander Salazar-Acevedo Die after Crash on South Park Avenue in Tucson
Tucson, AZ (February 26, 2023) – On Thursday, 20-year-old Alexander Salazar-Acevedo died in a crash on South Park Avenue.
The crash on South Park Avenue in Phoenix happened on February 19 around 9:45 p.m.
Tucson Police said the crash involved a white 2019 Ford F-35 and a silver 2013 Mercedes-Benz CLS 550.
Reportedly, the Ford F-350 was traveling southbound on North Park Avenue attempting to make a left-hand turn onto East Benson Highway when it crashed into the Mercedes-Benz.
Investigators said none of them show signs of impairment.
Moreover, all crash participants were examined and treated by the Tucson Fire Department and declined to be sent to the hospital.
However, on Thursday, February 23, 2023, the Mercedes-Benz passenger, Salazar-Acevedo died.
Salazar-Acevedo was hurt in the collision, but he insisted on going to the hospital with his family rather than being taken by ambulance.
