Kil Chang Padua Killed in Camino Ruiz Pedestrian Accident [Mira Mesa, CA]

Mira Mesa, CA (May 3, 2023) On Wednesday morning, 81-year-old Kil Chang Padua died after getting hit by a vehicle in the Camino Ruiz pedestrian accident.

Authorities say that the auto-pedestrian crash happened at the intersection Camino Ruiz and Westmore Road about 7 a.m. last week.

San Diego PD says that Padua was crossing at the intersection when a truck driver turning left hit the woman.

Police say that the Padua suffered a traumatic brain injury, as well as skull, rib, and pelvic fractures. Medics rushed her to a hospital where she ultimately succumbed to her injuries and died at the hospital.
