Palm Springs, CA (October 18, 2021) – On Saturday, 29-year-old Kiara Zarate of Desert Hot Springs dies in a crash on North Gene Autry Trail.

The two-vehicle crash took place at 11:40 p.m. south of Salvia Road,

When the officers arrived, they pronounced Zarate dead at the scene.

Officers are still investigating the crash.
