Kia Driver James Vasser Dies in Amethyst Road Collision [Victorville, CA]

Victorville, CA (November 14, 2024) –  22-year-old James Vasser of Victorville was fatally injured following an Amethyst Road collision Wednesday night.

It was around 9:55 p.m. on November 12 when a black Chevrolet Tahoe and a black Kia Soul collided head-on at the intersection with Mojave Drive.

The Kia driver, James Vasser, was declared deceased at the crash scene while the Chevrolet Tahoe driver was rushed to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities ask anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has additional information to contact Deputy R. Castillo at the Victorville Police Department at (760) 241-2911.
