Khayriyyah Jones Dies in DUI Crash on Highway 41 [Madera County, CA]

Madera County, CA (February 04, 2022) – On Thursday, 41-year-old Khayriyyah Jones of Fresno died in a DUI crash on Highway 41.

It was about 8:30 p.m. when the solo-vehicle collision happened near Road 406.

According to the investigating officers, a Fresno couple was traveling home from Chukchansi Gold Resort and Casino when the 63-year-old male driver overcorrected the vehicle. He lost control while southbound on the freeway. 

As a result, the vehicle went down an embankment and overturned. 

Unfortunately, Khayriyyah Jones succumbed to her injuries at the crash scene.

On the other hand, the rescuers took the driver to an area hospital with major injuries.

Responding authorities consider alcohol as a factor in this collision.
