5 Hurt and 1 Arrested in Tucson Car Accident on Viking Street
TUCSON, AZ (September 25, 2019) – Five people sustained injuries in a car accident on Viking Street on September 24.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department revealed that the collision involving two vehicles occurred near West Viking Street and South Sierrita Mountain Road.
31-year-old Kevin Wallace drove at a high rate of speed when he struck another vehicle with multiple occupants.
Responders transported the other vehicle driver to a local hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. Moreover, a woman and three juvenile passengers sustained minor injuries.
Wallace escaped the scene. However, authorities later found Wallace at his home. According to PCSD, Wallace showed signs of impairment and is under investigation for a DUI.
Authorities booked Wallace into the Pima County Adult Detention Complex on felony and misdemeanor charges
