Horrendous Hit-and-Run Accident on Crenshaw Boulevard Kills 59-Year-Old Bicyclist
Los Angeles, CA (January 19, 2024) On Wednesday evening, 59-year-old Kevin Sezar lost his life after a horrific hit-and-run crash on Crenshaw Boulevard.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the fatal accident happened around 7:30 p.m. on eastbound Crenshaw Boulevard south of Stocker Street.
Reports say that 2 vehicles struck Sezar while he was riding his bicycle. Officials say that the firts vehicle was heading northbound on Crenshaw, while the second vehicle, was traveling at high speed.
Officials say that the 2nd vehicle, did not stop and fled the scene, while the driver of the 1st vehicle stayed at the scene and attempted to help the victim.
Police are searching for the suspect driver and vehicle who remains at large.
Officials from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner later identified Sezar, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are investigating the fatal hit-and-run.
