Big Rig Driver Injured in Collision at Mile Post 73
Kittitas County, WA (November 30, 2022) – On Wednesday, Kevin Rise, 64, was charged in an Interstate 90 collision injuring another driver.
The traffic incident took place at about 9:22 a.m. at Mile Post 73.
According to the investigators, Kevin Rise was driving a big rig that rear-ended another big rig. Then, the 50-year-old driver of the second big rig slammed into a third big rig parked on the side of the road.
The 58-year-old driver of the third big rig was outside of the vehicle. He was struck by his own truck which then slammed into a parked bus.
Immediately, the paramedics rushed the injured driver to Kittitas Valley Healthcare for his injuries.
Washington State Patrol charged Kevin Rise with following the second truck too closely in traffic.
