Kevin Montes Hospitalized after Vancouver Pedestrian Accident
VANCOUVER, WA, (October 2, 2019) – A man suffered serious injuries in a pedestrian accident on McLoughlin Boulevard on September 30.
The Vancouver authorities arrived to the scene at 10:51 a.m. on McLoughlin Boulevard. Upon their arrival, they located a 2007 year-modeled 4-door sedan and pedestrian Kevin Montes with serious injuries.
According to officials, Montes was walking along McLoughlin Boulevard when a 15-year-old boy driving a 4-door sedan struck him. The sedan also had two other 15-year-old male passengers inside.
Montes sustained serious injuries as a result of the impact. Emergency responders later took him to a nearby hospital for further treatment. However, the extent of his injuries are still unknown.
The 15-year-old driver remained at the scene and cooperated with officials. In addition. the occupants inside the sedan did not suffer any injury.
Furthermore, the Vancouver PD later revealed that they issued a citation to the teen. However, the crash still currently remains under investigation.
