Kevin Kvarnlov Dies in Private Jet Crash Outside Truckee-Tahoe Airport [Truckee, CA]

Truckee, CA (July 29, 2021) – On Monday, Kevin Kvarnlov, Ryan Thomas, Christine Thomas, and pilot Bret Ebaugh, all died in private jet crash outside Truckee-Tahoe Airport.

The Bombardier CL 600 twin-engine jet crashed near a golf course in Truckee. Unfortunately, it killed all six people aboard the plane, the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office confirmed on Wednesday.

Officers said the aircraft went down several blocks from a runway as the pilot was trying to land at Truckee-Tahoe Airport.

The National Transportation Safety Board said the flight originated from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. 

Also , the aircraft originally flew from Van Nuys to Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport in Thermal before they went out to Reno and then Coeur d’Alene.

Ebaugh, a Palm Springs High School graduate, died in the accident.

Moreover, Hideaway Properties, a real estate agency in La Quinta, saif Hideaway members and owners Ryan and Christine Thomas also died un the crash.

Kvarnlov moved to the Coachella Valley in 2011 and started a career as a golf professional. He spent 9 years on the professional staff at The Palms Golf Club and The Plantation Golf Club, before moving to real estate.
