56-Year-Old Kevin James Clark Killed in Crash on 74th Avenue in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (October 30, 2024) – Kevin James Clark, 56, was killed in a crash near 74th Avenue and Thomas Road on Tuesday night.

Officers were called to the area around 7:30 p.m., and found a pickup being driven by a 17-year-old was traveling at a high rate of speed had crashed into a sedan driven by Clark.

Clark was driving northbound on 73rd Lane when he tried to turn left onto Thomas Road and was hit by the truck traveling eastbound on Thomas Road, according to police.

At this time impairment is not believed to be a factor.

The crash remains under investigation.
