Kevin Baughman Dead in Hit-and-Run Crash on West Valencia Road [Tucson, AZ]

PCSD Search for Hit-And-Run Driver after Crash on West Valencia Road in Tucson

Tucson, AZ (June 16, 2023) – Thursday night, 29-year-old Kevin Baughman died in a hit-and-run crash on West Valencia Road.

 The fatal hit-and-run crash happened around 11:30 p.m. on June 15. 

PCSD said they found Baughman down on the roadway. The suspected vehicle immediately fled the scene.

Baughman died at the scene.

According to eyewitnesses, Baughman was walking on Valencia Road in dark clothing when he was hit, PCSD said. 

Witnesses also observed that the SUV braked hard before hitting Baughman and fleeing the area.

Investigators describe the vehicle involved in the collision as an early 2000s GMC Yukon, that is missing its rear passenger side tail light and has damage to its rear window.

Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1.
