1 Killed and 1 Hospitalized in Palm Springs DUI Accident on Sunrise Way and East Palm Canyon Drive

 
PALM SPRINGS, CA (August 1, 2022) – Saturday night, authorities arrested Kevin Atteberry in a deadly DUI crash on Sunrise Way.
 
According to Palm Springs Police Department, the incident happened at around 9:07 p.m. Moreover, it occurred at the intersection of Sunrise Way and East Palm Canyon Drive.
 
Reports revealed that a southbound vehicle rear-ended another vehicle as it stopped at the intersection.
 
Moreover, responders pronounced the driver of the second vehicle dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported the passenger of the second vehicle to a hospital with serious injuries. Then, responders transported the driver of the causing vehicle, Kevin Atteberry of Los Angeles, to a hospital with serious injuries.
 
Furthermore, officers said that they will later arrest Atteberry for murder and DUI.
