Kevin Abric of Riverside Fatally Struck on Highway 12 [Riverside, CA]

Riverside, CA (June 18, 2022) – On Tuesday, at about 6:15 a.m., Kevin Abric of Riverside sustained fatal injuries in an accident on Highway 12.

Officers say the victim was about to cross the freeway on-ramp when a sedan ran into him.

According to the investigators, a Hyundai sedan driver was entering the freeway from Alessandro Boulevard at roughly 40 mph when Kevin Abric appeared directly in front of his vehicle.

“The driver attempted to avoid a crash with the pedestrian but was unable to,” the CHP says.

 “The right front of the Hyundai collided with the pedestrian.”

Immediately, the paramedics responded to the scene and declared Kevin Abric dead.

The sedan driver did not sustained injuries from the accident. He immediately stopped after the incident and called 911.
