Authorities Arrest Jonathan Road DUI Crash Suspect Kenyon Evans
Adelanto, CA (February 19, 2021) – On Tuesday, two were injured, while police arrested 44-year-old Kenyon Evans of Hesperia in a DUI crash on Jonathan Road.
The incident took place at the AM/PM gas station at the corner of US Highway 395.
Apparently, Evans was driving southbound on Jonathan Road when crossed over Air Expressway and ran his vehicle into a drainage ditch.
He accelerated to get his vehicle out of the ditch. Then, he drove through the perimeter fence of the AM/PM gas station and struck the two victims who were pumping gas at that time.
Right away, authorities responded and found two victims with major injuries trapped under a vehicle.
Immediately, rescuers airlifted one of the victims to a trauma center and they transported the other by ambulance.
Moreover, officers found Evans to be under the influence of drugs/alcohol.
Later on, authorities arrested him and held him in lieu of $100,000.00 bail. Evans was scheduled for arraignment in a Victorville courtroom on February 18, 2021.
There is no update on the condition of the two victims.

Victims of DUI Crashes
Moreover, while driving is essential for many to move about in their lives, it is one of the most dangerous daily activities. Thus, it is therefore important to know how to proceed in case you are involved in an accident.
Indeed, on the AAA Foundation website, chief executive officer Peter Kissinger repeatedly labeled the epidemic of motor vehicle-related accidents a “public health crisis.”
Mark Sweet, a personal injury attorney at Sweet Lawyers, says that serious DUI accidents cases may call for a separate investigation spearheaded by an experienced lawyer. A lawyer will make sure victims are not cheated of the proper compensation they are owed.
