4-Year-Old Injured in Fatal Burleson County Collision
Burleson County, TX (April 20, 2023) – At about 5 p.m. on Saturday, Kenya Beckett, 47, of Rockdale, and Chad Barcak, 45, also of Rockdale, lost their lives following a wrong-way collision on FM 908.
Texas DPS said a Chevrolet Silverado driven by Barcak traveled in the wrong lane and struck a truck driven by Beckett head-on.
Barcak succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while Beckett dies at the hospital.
The rescuers took the 4-year-old who was traveling with Beckett to a hospital with serious injuries.
Officers are investigating.
