Kentarri Currie Identified as Fatality in Crash on Interstate 15 near Bear Valley Road Off-Ramp
Victorville, CA (May 22, 2020)– On Friday morning, 24-year-old Kentarri Currie died in a crash on the Interstate 15 Bear Valley Road Off-Ramp.
The crash occurred at around 12:19 a.m. on May 22. Dispatched officers arrived and located a black 1999 Toyota Avalon lodged on semi on the scene.
According to reports, the Toyota driver, Currie, slammed into the rear of a 2010 Freightliner Cascadia under unknown circumstances. The driver was trapped inside and pronounced dead on the spot.
Meanwhile, the semi driver was asleep in the cab when the crash happened. Further investigation is ongoing.
