Kennedy Coleman Injured in Crippling Hit-and-Run Crash on Hoover Street near 79th Street [Los Angeles, CA]

1 Person Hospitalized in Los Angeles Bicycle Accident on Hoover Street near 79th Street

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 18, 2024) – Monday night, Kennedy Coleman sustained injuries in a crippling hit-and-run crash on Hoover Street near 79th Street.

The incident happened at around 10:30 p.m. on Hoover Street near 79th Street.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a bicyclist fell from his bike for still unknown reasons. 

Then, as the bicyclist was getting up from the pavement, a vehicle struck the victim, dragged him several feet, and fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders rushed the victim, identified as 63-year-old Coleman, to a hospital with severe injuries.

Furthermore, the city of Los Angeles offered a standing reward of up to $25,000 for information that would help the authorities solve a non-fatal hit and run.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
