Startling Houston Auto Accident on Beltway Feeder Road and Little York Road
HOUSTON, TX (September 5, 2024) – Wednesday, Kennard Robinson was involved in a hit-and-run crash on Beltway Feeder Road.
Reports said that the incident occurred on Beltway Feeder Road and Little York Road in northwest Houston.
Robinson was just two minutes away from home, waiting at a red light. When it turned green, he started driving. “I just saw something flying and coming quickly and was like, what the-,” said Robinson. Seconds later, a semi-truck blew through the red light, crashing into his car. “He just hit me and cleaned me out,” Robinson added. “All I remember was I passed out.”
Now, Kennard and his wife, Brittany are focused on finding the driver. “It’s despicable, honestly,” said Brittany. “How could someone be going that fast and have no regard for someone’s life? Every time I watch that video, it’s a gut punch.”
Dashcam footage and gas station surveillance are key clues for investigators. “We’re not going to rest until we see this case entirely through,” Brittany said. “To whoever this person is, do the right thing and turn yourself in.”
Kennard is scheduled for more medical tests this week and is expected to fully recover. If you have any information about this hit-and-run, contact Houston police.
