21-Year-Old Kendra Roberts Dies, Police Investigate after Crash on Grant Road in Tucson
Tucson, AZ (September 12, 2022) – Saturday night, 21-year-old Kendra Roberts died in a crash on Grant Road and Palo Verde.
The fatal crash happened at around 10 p.m. on September 3.
Tucson Police said a 2002 Lexus ES heading westbound on Grant Roberts hit Roberts in a marked crosswalk.
However, the Lexus left the scene and later returned and cooperated with the investigations.
Moreover, the second vehicle left the scene before police arrived, and the third vehicle — a red 2016 Honda Accord — stopped and cooperated with the officers.
Investigators said the drivers were not impaired, but the Lexus failed to yield at the crosswalk.
Further investigation to determine the other factors of this crash is underway.
