Keisha Rivera Injured and Kelilla Hughes Dead after Vehicle Overturns on SR 395
PASCO, WA (August 3, 2018) – A woman was confirmed dead following a Friday morning rollover crash on the northbound State Route 395. The deceased victim was later identified as 22-year-old Kelilla Hughes, a resident of Kennewick.
The Washington State Patrol said that at 3:44 AM, Hughes was driving a 4-door PT Cruiser when she lost control of the car. It then rolled over to the center median and landed on its passenger side.
Hughes was declared dead at the scene, and her passenger, 27-year-old Keisha Rivera of Pasco, was taken to the Kadlec Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Neither Hughes nor Rivera were wearing seatbelts at the time of the incident.
The cause of the accident was not yet known, as it remains under investigation at this time.
