Female Pedestrian Dies in Hit-and-Run Accident Along Pacific Coast Highway
Ventura County, CA (December 22, 2022) On Wednesday evening, CHP arrested 46-year-old Keith Satyananda after a deadly DUI crash along PCH.
According to the CHP the hit-and-run accident happened at about 10:20 p.m. on the northbound side of Pacific Coast Highway, north of Mugu Rock.
Reports say that Satyananda was driving an SUV that struck 2 pedestrians and fled the scene after the collision.
Officials pronounced the female pedestrian dead at the scene, while the other person, a 30-year-old man, sustained major injuries.
Paramedics transported the injured man to a hospital.
Meanwhile, CHP later apprehended Keith Satyananda several miles away from the scene of the crash. Officers stopped the SUV on Rice Avenue and Wooley Road.
Furthermore, authorities booked Satyananda on multiple offenses, including DUI and hit-and-run.
