Kaylaa Kirkland Dead in Horrific Two-Vehicle Crash on Amarillo Boulevard and Tennessee Street [Amarillo, TX]

1 Person Killed in Amarillo Auto Accident on Amarillo Boulevard and Tennessee Street

AMARILLO, TX (December 31, 2023) – Friday afternoon, Kaylaa Kirkland died in a horrific two-vehicle crash on Amarillo Boulevard and Tennessee Street.

The incident happened at around 3:51 p.m. on Amarillo Boulevard West and Tennessee Street.

According to reports, a westbound red Chevrolet Suburban struck an eastbound Gray Nissan sedan that was traveling at a high rate of speed.

Moreover, responders rushed the driver of the Nissan, identified as 26-year-old Kirkland, to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead. Then, paramedics transported the driver of the Suburban to an area hospital with serious injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
