3 People Hurt in Jefferson City Auto Accident on 2300 Missouri Boulevard
JEFFERSON CITY, MO (August 8, 2024) – Tuesday afternoon, Kathryn Lackman and two other people sustained injuries in a crash on 2300 Missouri Boulevard.
The incident happened at around 5:57 p.m. in the 2300 block of Missouri Boulevard.
According to the Jefferson Police, a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta collided with a 2019 Ford Escape that made a right turn in front of the Volkswagen.
Moreover, authorities confirmed that family members transported the 16-year-old driver of the Ford and the 23-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, identified as 23-year-old Lackman, to a hospital with unknown injuries. Then, paramedics transported the 16-year-old passenger of the Ford to a hospital with unknown injuries.
Furthermore, the crash closed one lane of westbound Missouri Boulevard but has long since reopened.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the Jefferson Police continued to investigate the crash.
