Driver Kathleen Christian of Sullivan Involved in Highway H Collision [Leasburg, MO]

Leasburg, MO (September 16, 2024) – Driver Kathleen Christian, 68, of Sullivan, was involved in a bicycle accident on Highway H Saturday morning.

It was about 10:15 a.m. when the collision happened on the southbound freeway.

Troopers said Kathleen Christian was driving a 2014 Ford Escape when she traveled over the center of the road. The Ford Escape then struck a male 17-year-old bicyclist from Columbia.

The bicyclist sustained serious injuries and was flown to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis. Troopers said the victim was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
