Police Investigate Fatal Crash on 7th Avenue and Grant Street 

Phoenix, AZ (December 15, 2022) – 32-year-old Katherine Lee Adkins died in a crash on 7th Avenue and Grant Street late Wednesday night.

The fatal crash in Phoenix happened on December 14.

Phoenix Police said the collision involved a truck, and a sedan.

According to investigators, a female driving a northbound sedan collided with a truck driven by a guy and Adkins as a passenger on 7th Avenue. 

The truck rolled over as a result of the incident, ejecting Adkins from the vehicle. She sustained fatal injuries.

The truck’s driver fled the scene and has not been located.

Meanwhile, police said a second vehicle reportedly left the scene but was located nearby. The driver was found with the car and is accused of driving while intoxicated.

Further investigation into this fatal crash is ongoing.
