LA Resident Karsten Gopinath Dies in Centinela Avenue Collision [Los Angeles, CA]

Los Angeles, CA (December 14, 2024) – Karsten Gopinath, 53, of Los Angeles, was killed in a Centinela Avenue collision Thursday night.

The multi-vehicle crash happened around 8:12 p.m. at the intersection with Olympic Boulevard.

Video recorded by witnesses showed multiple vehicles including a sedan crashed onto a large tree in a center median and an SUV overturned.

Unfortunately, Karsten Gopinath was declared dead at the crash scene. 

Meanwhile, another victim was taken to the hospital with critical injuries, and a third person incurred minor injuries.

The authorities are still investigating the cause of the collision.
