Afternoon Head-On Crash on Highway 58 in Tehachapi Kills 2
TEHACHAPI, CA (October 13, 2019) – Two people were killed following a head-on crash Sunday afternoon in Tehachapi, authorities said.
The crash happened just before 1:00 p.m. on westbound Highway 58 at Dennison Road.
According to the CHP, a white pickup truck and a black Hyundai sedan collided head-on. The impact sent both vehicles into the center divider.
Two occupants suffered severe injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office identified the victims as 60-year-old Karl Myles of Fresno and 54-year-old Chloe Miller, a Tracy resident.
There were no official reports stating what caused the crash or how it exactly transpired. Authorities are looking further into the accident.
