29-Year-Old Karina Bernas Dies after Crashing Car on 10 Freeway in Redlands

 
REDLANDS, CA (December 8, 2019) – A woman died in a car accident early Sunday morning in Redlands, CHP official said.
 
The crash happened just after 3:00 a.m. on eastbound 10 Freeway at westbound 210 Freeway.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, an SUV was speeding when it ran off the connector road. It left the elevated roadway at its highest point.
 
Officers arrived and found the driver and sole occupant of the car with fatal injuries. They pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
 
The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 29-year-old Karina Sarah Bernas of Beaumont.
 
Authorities are looking further into the incident to determine the other factors involved.
