Karen Render Killed, Pregnant Woman Injured in Car Accident on Grand Avenue [Glendale, AZ]

1 Dead and 1 Injured in Glendale Car Accident

 
GLENDALE, CA (November 20, 2019) – A 52-year-old woman died while another sustained injuries in a car accident on Grand Avenue.
 
According to reports, on October 19, a pregnant woman drove a minivan northwest on Grande Avenue when she struck a whole tire in the road and lost control. The vehicle drove across the median and hit a car traveling southeast.
 
The car driver, 52-year-old Karen Render, died in the collision.
 
Meanwhile, the minivan’s 28-year-old pregnant driver went to a hospital and delivered a healthy baby girl. The woman sustained serious injuries and is still recovering.
 
Authorities ruled out speed or impairment as factors in the collision.
