Karen Montes Cabrera Identified as One Of the Deceased in Templeton Car Crash
Templeton, CA [UPDATE] – On Monday, 21-year-old Karen Montes Cabrera and three others succumbed to fatal injuries in a car accident.
Moreover, responders received calls of the incident at around 9:34 p.m.
Witnesses claimed the vehicle collided into an oak tree.
Later reports revealed the tragic crash occurred as a result of the driver, Kevin York, braking while driving at a high speed, and thus colliding into a tree, east of Deer View Lane.
Medics pronounced the four victims dead at the scene.
Later on Tuesday, authorities released their names to the public as Karen Montes Cabrera, 21, Kegin York,22, Shelby Biaggini, 23, and Taylan Perez, 22.
Since then, the community remains shocked by the news.
Karen’s friend, Ashley Vergara, said, “I saw the news, but I didn’t believe it was somebody I knew personally.”
Montes Cabrera’s mother stated “She loves everybody. She didn’t have problems with anybody. She loved everyone no matter what. Karen is an excellent person.”
