Speeding Driver Dies after Crashing Back of Semi on 15 Freeway at Magnolia Avenue
CORONA, CA (June 28, 2019) – A speeding driver later identified as 29-year-old Kamren Bey, was killed in a rear-end crash early Friday morning on the 15 Freeway.
The two-vehicle collision happened around 4:40 a.m., on the southbound lanes of the 15 Freeway. Dispatchers arrived to the area near the Magnolia Avenue exit.
According to initial reports, Bey was driving a white Kia Forte at a high rate of speed on the highway. There, he struck the back of a semi truck carrying cement at the time.

Bey was the sole occupant of the car. He allegedly suffered life-threatening injuries before he was later pronounced dead at the scene. He was also reportedly not wearing a seat belt.
Furthermore, the driver of the semi truck remained injured. Their identity has also not been released.
Three freeway lanes were closed until after 7:30 a.m., while evidence was collected and photographed. However, the roadway has since reopened.
Alcohol consumption by the man is believed to have contributed to the crash. Further investigation is underway.
We offer our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Kamren Bey as they search for peace and comfort during this difficult time.
