Highway 99 Pedestrian Accident Results in Fatality
Lynnwood, WA (October 3, 2024) – Kaitlin Wester, 29, was killed in a pedestrian accident on Highway 99 Wednesday.
It was around 6 a.m. when the fatal accident happened at Shelby Road.
Officers said Kaitlin Wester was walking south in the left lane of the freeway when she was hit by a southbound Mazda CX-5 driven by a 45-year-old Everett woman.
Unfortunately, Wester was killed at the scene while the Mazda driver was not hurt.
Troopers are still investigating the collision.
