1 Hurt in Vista Pedestrian Accident on Mar Vista Drive
VISTA, CA (February 27, 2020) – A juvenile sustained injuries in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Mar Vista Drive on February 25.
According to Sheriff’s Lt. Ted Greenawald, the child believed, to be 12 years old, was hit by a white sedan in the 1000 block of Mar Vista Drive at around 4:45 p.m.
After the crash, the driver failed to stop, fleeing the crash scene.
The initial reports revealed that a second vehicle struck the victim as well, Greenwald added. The driver of the second vehicle however stayed at the scene.
Meanwhile, medical responders transported the victim to the hospital for treatment of injuries of undetermined severity.
The lieutenant added that the child was awake and responsive while receiving treatment at the scene.
Additional details, such as the gender of the victim, remain unavailable as of this time.
