1 Hospitalized in Susanville Car Accident on Highway 395
SUSANVILLE, CA (January 13, 2022) – Tuesday, Justin Weber sustained injuries and authorities arrested Delber Gavin after a crash on Highway 395.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 5:47 p.m. on Highway 395.
Reports revealed that a northbound 1994 Plymouth Voyager minivan made an unsafe lane change. Then, it struck the right front side of a 2017 Toyota Tacoma. Afterward, the Plymouth rotated counter-clockwise. Eventually, a southbound 2021 Dodge Ram hit the Plymouth.
Moreover, responders transported the Dodge driver, 35-year-old Justin Weber to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno. Weber suffered moderate injuries.
Meanwhile, paramedics rushed the Plymouth driver, 53-year-old Delbert Gavin to Banner Lassen Medical Center in Susanville with major injuries. Also, the Tacoma driver, 76-year-old Robert Eide sustained no injuries in the crash.
Furthermore, officials arrested Gavin after he admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages before the incident.
Meanwhile, the incident remains under investigation.
