Young Woman Injured in San Diego Car Accident
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 14, 2020) – Last Monday, Justin Strawder was arrested after a DUI collision that injured a woman on 8 Freeway.
According to the authorities, the 18-year-old woman suffered serious injuries in the crash on 8 Freeway near Golden Acorn Casino.
California Highway Patrol revealed that the woman was riding a speeding westbound 2013 Subaru WRX. It then collided with a big rig west of Crestwood Road just after 7:30 a.m.
Due to the crash, the vehicle drove across a center median area and stopped on the eastbound side of the freeway, CHP public-affairs Officer Travis Garrow revealed.
Medical responders transported the young woman and the Subaru driver, 21-year-old Justin Strawder of Spring Valley, to Sharp Memorial hospital in San Diego to receive treatment for severe and minor injuries.
Upon treatment at the Kearny Mesa medical center, the authorities booked Justin Strawder into the county jail on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
