Justin Smith Arrested after DUI Crash on Intersection of East Lyons Avenue and North Crestline Street
SPOKANE, WA (February 6, 2018) – A DUI accident that injuring Justin Smith and Marc Mueller occurred on early Tuesday morning, on the intersection of East Lyons Avenue and North Crestline Street.
Justin D. Smith, 42, was driving eastbound on Lyons Avenue impaired and with his headlights off, when he struck a truck. The hit vehicle was headed southbound on Crestline St and driven by 59-year-old Marc J. Mueller.
Mueller suffered injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Smith sustained minor injuries, but was not taken for evaluation.
The intersection of East Lyons Ave and North Crestline St was closed while investigation took place by the Washington State Patrol. Officials believe that drugs or alcohol were contributing factors to this accident that injured two. Smith was charged with vehicular assault after failing to yield the right of way. No other information has been provided at this time.
